Students for Latinos/Latinx in Public Health

The Brown Students for Latinos/Latinx in Public Health is open to all students who want to advocate and contribute towards addressing health issues among the Latino/Latinx community in the United States and internationally.

Brown Students for Latinos/Latinx in Public Health's Goals:

  • To promote a better understanding of Latino/Latinx culture and issues within public health and beyond.
  • To promote and encourage diversity at Brown through participation in various social, cultural and academic activities.
  • To encourage students to engage in Latino/Latinx public health research
  • To serve the Latino/Latinx community in Rhode Island and internationally
