Brown University Shuttle services
Brown University Shuttle is a safety-oriented transportation service offered to the Brown community – students, faculty, and staff of Brown and hospital affiliates who have a Brown ID.

The Brown onCall service is available to all Brown community members without pre-registration for point-to-point transportation.
Rhode Island Transit (RIPTA)
Rhode Island bus and trolley schedules.
Current students are able to ride any RIPTA bus or trolley anytime, anywhere in the state at no charge.
Bicycles and scooters
University resources and programs related to biking to and around campus. Indoor bicycle parking is available in the 121 South Main garage.

Planes, trains, and automobiles ... and boats
Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport (PVD) is located in Warwick, Rhode Island, about a half hour from campus.
Boston Logan International Airport is located about an hour and a half to two hours (or more) from campus, depending on traffic.
Amtrak offers high-speed service to Boston and New York, as well as the rest of the United States. The Amtrak station is located in downtown Providence, less than a half hour walk from campus.
Boston Commuter Rail offers several trains per day to Boston. The MBTA station is located in downtown Providence, less than a half hour walk from campus.

Seasonal service between Providence, Bristol, and Newport. The Providence Ferry Terminal, at 25 India Street, is less than a half hour walk from campus.
The ferry to Block Island leaves from Narragansett, which is about an hour drive from campus.
