Public Health Research Day

April 5, 2022 | Alumnae Hall, Brown University

The School of Public Health’s annual poster conference showcases the public health research of Brown students at all levels, along with our trainees and partners. Held in-person for the first time in two years, the event was one of several commemorating National Public Health Week, April 4-10, 2022.

Over 70 public health posters, presented and discussed by authors, were joined by representatives from local public health organizations who shared information on research, internship, and postgraduate job opportunities at the first SPH Community Engagement Fair.

Communicating your science to people who may not be experts in your specific field is such an important skill to learn. It's a skill that we use throughout our careers, whether we're trying to obtain funding or trying to influence health practice and policy.
