Nelson Center (Entrepreneurship)
The Nelson Center offers a wide range of co-curricular activities that include student organizations, workshops, speakers, and programs that support Brown’s entire entrepreneurial ecosystem. In addition to its scholarly and educational mission, the center supports venture creation and acceleration across a range of industries and in various forms.
Sheridan Center (Teaching and Learning)
The Sheridan Center seeks to provide a place where all learners can grow, interdisciplinary collaborations can form, and educators can experiment with different modalities of teaching and learning. Swearer Center (Community Engagement)
The Swearer Center works with more than 1,200 Brown students, through and with 80+ community partners — more than half of which are in the Greater Providence area. It connects students, faculty, and community partners through community engagement, engaged scholarship, and social innovation.
Watson Institute (International and Public Affairs)
The Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs seeks to promote a just and peaceful world through research, teaching, and public engagement. It is dedicated to meaningful social science research and teaching, and animated by the conviction that informed policy can change systems and societies for the better.
School of Professional Studies (Graduate Professional Development)
The School of Professional Studies offers regular workshops, webinars, and virtual drop-in sessions to support the professional development of Brown's graduate students.
